Commercial ventures require considerable effort to avoid zoning and other requirements that stall businesses from opening. We protect their services and guide them through logistics, , ethics and laws that effect operations.

Paymaster & Escrow

 

Many large transactions require the services of a Paymaster / Escrow Agent to secure funds in advance of large transactions. Bruce maintains a registered Trust Account which has secured deposit funds for sellers and buyers while verification and inspections of products proceed to close the purchase. Bruce has handled escrows for multinational corporations for clients around the world.

Estate Administration

 

All too often, a family is faced with the loss of a loved one where no planning for the inevitable was accomplished. In situations where no will was completed heirs are in many cases left with a puzzle and sometimes a dispute over how the deceased’s assets shall be handled. This office provides careful planning and administration of estates to insure that proper steps are achieved. Planning for final events may include the designation of Power of Attorney, and Health Directives to guide appropriate medical care.

Municipal Court

 

As a former Chief Judge, Bruce is well aware of the procedures defendants need to take to protect their rights. Municipal Court is the forum that most citizens encounter from traffic citations through petty disorderly matters that need resolution. Where clients are eligible, they my have their criminal records expunged from official records as though the summons/arrest never happened.

Employment and Labor

 

Bruce has years of experience representing public and private entities with labor matters including the impact of Labor Unions. Often these clients need additional assistance with Employee Handbooks and guidance on evolving laws affecting their operations. The firm has also represented individual employees faced with harassment and wrongful termination.
